Discipleship: One who embraces and assists in spreading the teaching of another.

As Christians, we are called to be disciples of Christ. Discipleship is all about following Jesus and helping others do the same. In today's fast-paced world, losing sight of what truly matters is easy. Many people are focused on their careers, their families, and their own goals. But as Christians, we must remember that God's influence must be established as the standard in every area of our lives. We need to be bold for Him and encourage others to do the same.

Not everyone is called to be a pastor or a missionary, but we can all disciple within our lives. Discipleship can be as simple as showing kindness to someone hurting or praying for someone struggling. It's about being intentional in our relationships and using every opportunity to share the love of Christ with those around us.

One way to be intentional in our relationships is to invite others to church and share our testimonies on how God has changed our lives. This can be a powerful witness to those who may not yet know Christ. As we serve God, we must remember that discipleship is not just a one-time event. It's an ongoing process of growth and development. We need to continually seek God's guidance and direction and be open to learning from others who are further along in walking with the Lord.

Ultimately, our goal as disciples should be to bring glory to God and to see others come to know Him. We must be willing to step out of our comfort zones and take risks for the sake of our Heavenly Father. Luke 9:23 states, "Then he said to them all: Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." When we do this, we can have a powerful impact on those around us and make a real difference in the world.

God's need for disciples is ongoing. We are called to be His hands and feet in the world, sharing His love and grace with everyone we meet. Whether we are pastors, teachers, doctors, or stay-at-home parents, we all have a role in advancing the kingdom of God. Let's embrace our calling as disciples and be bold in our witness for Christ.
